Barn House Holiday Lets consist of two self contained holiday units, Barn Cottage and the Coach House, in the grounds of Barn House in the North Norfolk village of Dersingham.
Both properties have recently been refurbished to provide light, bright modern accommodation. Bed linen, towels and electricity are all included. North Norfolk’s stunning beaches, villages and towns are all within a few miles of the accommodation.
The Coach House is a spacious self contained first floor apartment with a large bedroom. This accommodation would suit a couple, a young family or friends wishing to holiday together.
The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 although could accommodate up to 4 plus 2 children for a short period. The bedroom has a king size bed, single bed and plenty of space for a cot or child’s bed if required.
The lounge has an integral kitchen and a double sofa bed which is suitable for a short stay.
Barn Cottage is a self contained one bedroom property annexed to Barn House, the owner’s property. It has a double bedroom and shower room on the ground floor with the living space upstairs. This property is perfect for a couple.
The two properties hired together would suit an extended family, mum, dad & young children in the Coach House with granny & grandad in Barn Cottage.
There is safe off-road parking at both properties and under cover facilities for cycles. Also, shared use of a washing machine and full freezer.
Guests have access to the owner’s large garden including garden furniture.
Dersingham village itself offers great amenities including a newsagent, two supermarkets, coffee shop, fish & chip shop and two pubs:- The Feathers and The Coach & Horses (Norfolk CAMRA pub of the year 2014). The Rose & Crown at Snettisham, the next village, won Good Pub Guide Pub of the Year 2014.
Extensive beach, woodland and countryside walks are available, many direct from the front door. Sandringham Visitor Centre is only 40 minutes' walk across heathland and through woodland. The Country Park has hundreds of acres to explore. In May/June rhododendrons make a spectacular display and in autumn the woods are bright with colour. Crisp, frosty winter mornings are a delight.
The beach (2 ½ miles) has an R.S.P.B.bird reserve and from October to February is home to tens of thousands of pink-footed geese which fly inland during the day to feed, providing a remarkable spectacle every morning and evening.
Dersingham Nature Reserve, managed by Natural England is a Site of Special Scientific Interest within an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Barn House is only one mile from the SusTrans cycle route, and the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are a short drive away.
